2011 Lamplighter Award Winners

Monday, November 7th was a wild night of praise and celebration for our favorite Gaslamp Quarter businesses.

The Gaslamp Quarter Association hosted the 17th annual Lamplighter Awards at the Omni Hotel San Diego. The evening began with a cocktail hour featuring flowing spirits and appetizer stations provided by Escape Fish Bar, Hard Rock Café, Toast Enoteca & Cucina and Royal India. We tasted the best bites in town while perusing the Silent Auction, biding on our favorite items, and mingling among the Who’s Who of San Diego industry, media and fans.

In the Omni ballroom, we all took our seats and witnessed hot ticket items soar through the crowd during the Live Auction, followed by a three-course dinner provided by US Foods. But of course, the main highlight of the evening was the Hollywood-style awards show that celebrated the best Gaslamp businesses. The awards show honored the Best New Retailer, Best New Restaurant, Best New Nightclub, Chef of the Year, Favorite Gaslamp Hotel, Favorite Gaslamp Spa and many more lifestyle categories. Congratulations to the winners of the 2011 Lamplighter Awards!
