Conspire Grand Opening at Community in Bankers Hill

Published : 1/13/2009 by Michelle Guerin

LWP Group celebrates the launch of its latest lifestyle property - Community - this Saturday with a unique art and music event dubbed Conspire, hosted in collaboration with Sanctuary 143.

On Saturday, January 17th, Conspire welcomes artists and musicians in the sleek units of Community - a revamped 1920s hotel ready to unite Banker's Hill.

Conspire Sight and Sound

Each of the new lifestyle property's units will welcome a featured artist and musician who will co-inspire each other with a music installation orchestrated in response to paintings and sculptures. A unique launch party for LWP Group's latest project, Conspire pays homage to the different channels of creativity, and the synergy will set the tone for the brand new Community.

Artists and musicians include: Acamonchi (pictured left), Josh Higgins, Mike Maxwell, Josh and Jeremiah Zimmerman of The Silent Comedy, Josh Shelton, Sean Kelley, Joel P. West, Wes Bruce, Sandee Manuel, Keikichi Honna, Jeff Faeth, Sean Christopher, Tocayo and Will Redd.

Conspire Flavors and Foundation

Conspire at Community guests will enjoy hors d'oeuvres from green-thinking San Diego restaurants and organic farms such as The Linkery in North Park, Restaurant at The Pearl Hotel in Point Loma, and Stehley Farms in Valley Center. Nibble on farm-to-table meatballs from The Linkery, sip down soup shooters from The Pearl Hotel, and dip into organic guacamole with avocados from Stehley Farms. Appetizers will be served from 6-8pm.

Community is the latest creation from the team behind The Pearl Hotel. Community merges historic architecture, modern design, and artist installations to create an engaging urban environment that allows residents' common interests to emerge and thrive. Discover Community here.

Don't miss this innovative Community launch party on Saturday, January 17, 2009 from 6-10pm. A $5 cover fee supports your local artists. To RSVP and get more info, visit Sanctuary143 here.
