For Fresh Produce, Nothing Beats the Beach

Any day of the week, you can find a Farmer’s Market at one of San Diego’s myriad communities. However, the Ocean Beach Farmer’s Market is constantly ranked at the top of the heap. Its sunny outdoor location, friendly vendors, and vast variety of organic produce and unique merchandise for sale keep locals and visitors coming back weekly.

But what sets the Ocean Beach Farmer’s Market farther beyond the other local markets is its unequaled energy. Live musicians fill the air with get-up-and-go. Inflatable jumpers overflow with bouncing kids. And where else can your child ride an actual llama?

The market is located on the 4900 block of Newport Avenue, between Cable Street and Bacon Street, and commences at four in the afternoon. Arrive a little early to lock in a parking spot.

OB Farmer's Market- Wednesdays

You're so right. OB's Farmer's Market has such great energy... and offerings. From fresh flowers, to fresh wild-salmon, homemade salsa, live art, live music, and "the hummus guy," you can't go wrong.
