ShamROCK San Diego is a huge Irish block party that takes over the Gaslamp Quarter every year on St. Patrick’s Day. This year, the annual ShamROCK celebration went down on Tuesday, March 17, 2009.
ShamROCK 2009 covered the Gaslamp streets with 60,000 feet of Astroturf – providing a fenced in area for dedicated partiers to rage in peace. Aiding the party efforts were spirits from Miller Lite, Jameson Irish Whiskey, and traditional Irish Fayre. From the Main Stage to the Dance Stage ShamROCK was filled with green-clad locals and wild Irish-inspired entertainment.
