Amy Winehouse, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Charlie Sheen, Captain America, Lady Gaga as Jo Calderone, Beyonce and Jay-Z; these are just a few of the celebrity scandal-inspired costume trends we predict to see during our favorite of local holidays: Halloween.
Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time to break out those barely-there booty shorts and scheme up an innovative costume because Halloween is just a few weeks away. Although we’ve barely come to accept that summer is actually over, top San Diego clubs are already starting to announce their 2011 Halloween party plans. From FLUXX to Ivy Nightclub and the entire Hard Rock Hotel, our favorite venues always go balls to the wall come Halloween, and this year is no exception. Halloween falls on a Monday, and while that may bum you out, we encourage you to look at the glass as half full. This means a four-day weekend of holiday madness, complete with live celebrity performances, the world’s best DJs, and the city's hottest costume-clad locals.
