When it comes to Halloween costumes, less is more. But when you’re looking for a Halloween party, more is always more. This year, you can have the best of both worlds at the Andaz San Diego Hotel.
Maxim Magazine is heading back to the Andaz for Halloween. Earlier this summer, Maxim hosted an exclusive Comic-Con party atop Ivy Rooftop, held in conjunction with FX and Fox, which attracted Seth MacFarlane, Elijah Wood, and RZA of Wu-Tang Clan, among other celebrity guests. Maxim will roll out the red carpet again on Saturday, October 27 -- the official Halloween pre-party night in San Diego.
The Andaz will open up Ivy Nightclub, Ivy Rooftop and Ivy Wine Bar for a hotel-wide soiree with sultry surprises lurking around every corner. Heaven & Hell is the theme of Maxim Devil’s Cut Halloween, which is presented in partnership with Jim Beam Devil’s Cut -- a 90 proof premium bourbon. The subterranean nightclub will be transformed into a hellish playground, while the pool-side rooftop will reflect an ethereal heaven-esque lounge.
Maxim guarantees the eye candy, kicking off the evening with a red carpet entrance by gorgeous Maxim models decked out in scandalous Halloween costumes. Your Maxim hostesses will be Ashley Ann Vickers (hometown hotties finalist), Alyssa Esparza and Mayra Tinajero, among others. Inside the bash, Andaz’s signature Lipstik Inc. dancers will perform Heaven & Hell-inspired choreography. More entertainment perks will include party beats by DJs Matt Price, Este and Angle.
