2nd Annual San Diego Brewery Awards

San Diego is highly regarded as a destination city for adventures in craft beer. With over 40 unique breweries located in San Diego County, deciding what to drink first can be difficult.

Tap Hunter, a local organization that provides beer aficionados with updated tap lists from all the hottest spots, seeks to delivery clarity and purpose in hosting the 2nd Annual San Diego Brewery Awards.

Brewery submissions are being accepted now until February 3rd, and fans are invited share their most memorable experience at a local brewery through an interactive online forum at awards.taphunter.com. Following the submission process, public voting will take place from February 4th – 24th.

Come February 29th, the votes will be tallied and winners will be announced. The top three fan favorite stories will receive hookups for even more beer drinking, as follows: 1st place receives a $200 gift certificate to Best Damn Home Brew Mart, 2nd place prize is a $25 gift card to Hamilton’s and Small Bar, and 3rd place receives a $25 gift certificate to Local Habit.

Of course, fans won’t be the only ones receiving recognition. The top three San Diego breweries to receive the most votes through fan stories will be honored at the San Diego Brewery Awards in March. The winning breweries will receive a Tap Hunter recognition plaque to commemorate their victory.
