3rd Annual Industry Night Thanksgiving Can Drive at Side Bar

It seems like right after Halloween the holiday spotlight tends to forget all about Thanksgiving and make a beeline for the winter holidays – we speculate that presents may be the culprit. Nevertheless, we here at DiscoverSD know that giving can feel just as good as receiving, which is why we invite you to do a little bit of both at this year's 3rd Annual Industry Night Thanksgiving Can Drive, hosted by Side Bar and your friends here at DiscoverSD.

This Turkey Day-inspired celebration will take place at Side Bar on Wednesday, November 23rd from 8pm to 2am, complete with live music all night courtesy of DJ Scooter. Now here is where the "giving" part comes into play; anyone who brings in at least four canned items will get hooked up with a hosted bar from 8-9pm and free entry before 11pm. All donated canned goods will be donated to Mama's Kitchen and given to those in need.

"Every year we team up with DSD and Mama’s Kitchen to throw an amazing Industry night where we get to give back for a change,” shares Side Bar's master mixologist Ali Pouladin. “This time of the year it’s important for us to give back; we’re all so blessed and events like this mean more to us than most events! Our resident little man Mighty Mike will be dressed as a turkey and will be taking pictures out front, pouring Jameson into people’s mouths and taking out big bottles of champagne to tables with our girls! This is typically the busiest bar night of the year and we throw the biggest and sexiest event year after year, with the help of DSD of course!"

Now, we know we mentioned earlier that there will be some receiving going on as well. DiscoverSD President Nadav Wilf addresses this tidbit and sums up all of our feelings quite nicely with just a few words: "I cannot wait to give thanks for all the amazing people we have in our lives. Let's make a deal… you bring your cans and I will pour some Gobblicious drinks for you. Deal? Luv ya!”
