Bar West: Nightclub Heat in Pacific Beach

With a few steps inside the doors, the flashing lights and intoxicating music resonate throughout your body. While stunningly sexy bottle service girls lead you to your table, you’re mesmerized by the extravagant showmanship of San Diego’s hottest crowds mingling, drinking, and dancing the night away. You’d almost think you were in a downtown nightclub if you didn’t know any better. But this is Bar West, Pacific Beach’s only bottle service club with an added ocean breeze coming in strong from three blocks away.

Locals flock to Bar West to feel as upscale as a Gaslamp spot, while never leaving the beach. Music is a priority here as talented DJs take over on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. On the high-energy dance floor, surprising themes keep us on our toes while we meander between VIP booths and the easy-on-the-eyes bartenders. The latest addition are BPM Thursdays, taking a twist on the normal hip-hop mashups. Thursdays are now dedicated to those who love house music, providing a unique blend of upbeat sounds. Next on the BPM lineup is Brett Bodley spinning Jan. 19th and Sid Vicious on Jan. 26th.

With reasonably priced bottles and a different deal running every night, it’s no wonder the club has many regulars returning to get their nightclub fix. On Thursdays, guests can guzzle down $5 drinks and $150 Svedka bottles. No Cover Fridays mean just that, plus $5 Absolut cocktails and $200 bottles. On Saturdays, drink up with $5 Skyy vodka cocktails and $200 Skyy bottles; and on Sundays, also known as Service Industry Night, enjoy $200 Ketel One Bottles, $6 premiums and $5 industry drinks for service industry employees.

It’s not an uncommon sight to spot celebrities and athletes on the signature Sunday Industry nights, either. From “The Pole” to “The Pit,” Bar West pulses with life around every corner and attracts those seeking late-night reverly. Not to mention, the gorgeous Bar West girls (pictured) cater to guests with a sizzling hot welcome. The ladies turn Bar West from just another place to play in PB to a fiery hot force to be reckoned with. If the pictures don’t do it for you, just head inside and get to oogling.

Bar West nightclub is open Thursday through Saturday, 9pm-2am, and on Sundays from 9pm-1am, and is located at 959 Hornblend Street in Pacific Beach.
