Captivating Wednesday Cabaret at Sweetwater Saloon

Sweetwater Saloon at the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego introduces a new sultry genre of witty entertainment with Wednesday Cabaret Nights, rotating every other week.

Every other Wednesday, Sweetwater Saloon reinvents the classic French Cabaret with a rotating mixture of acts including a burlesque show, comedian, belly dancers, contortionists, stilt walkers, and acrobatic dancers. The French Cabaret is known for evoking the "intimacy and informal spirit of public performances," and Sweetwater is modernizing the tradition underneath the Gaslamp lights in downtown San Diego.

This new Wednesday night party was envisioned by San Diego Gerber Bar General Manager, Bruno Cardinali. Raised in Portugal's cabaret community by his mother, a famous Portuguese cabaret singer, Cardinali has always been inspired by the extravagance and energy of the cabaret. Before his Sweetwater arrival, Cardinali successfully reintroduced cabaret as a must-see affair in New York City's social scene. Now calling San Diego nightlife home, Cardinali hopes locals will embrace Wednesday Cabaret Night as an exciting alternative to industry night, with relaxing drinks and extraordinary entertainment.

The Gerber Group is known for urban, sophisticated bars and lounges across the globe, and Sweetwater Saloon is just one of two luxury venues at the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego. Sweetwater is the ground level bar with an open-air patio and spacious saloon-inspired interior. Exposed brick walls, dangling crystal balls, cascading lights, deep red VIP plush, and dark leather booths are just a few chic elements of this sweet saloon.

Sweetwater Saloon hosts the all new Wednesday Cabaret Nights every other Wednesday at the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego. Doors open at 9pm, and the cabaret show starts at 11pm - general cover is $15.
