Celeb Watch: Lady Gaga Live at Side Bar

If you see the Paparazzi out in full force on Wednesday, March 31st, flooding the corner of 6th and Market in downtown San Diego, don’t be alarmed – Just Dance, put on your Poker Face and remain calm.

Lady Gaga is heading to Side Bar for an exclusive live show that you don’t want to miss. Known for such trend-setting mega-hits as “Bad Romance”, “Telephone”, “Love Game” and of course the original one that stole our hearts “Just Dance” – Lady Gaga is an international pop music sensation that continues to keep fans forever at the edge of our seats. The one and only Lady Gaga is heading to Side Bar, and this live in-club performance will be nothing short of amazing!

Did you catch Mini Britney Spears performing live at Universal in Hillcrest last year? Well the answer is yes, this same petite and incredibly talented artist is back in San Diego with a whole new act.

Terra Jole first became known for her role in Beacher’s Madhouse in Las Vegas. She departed from the Hard Rock headliner’s act in 2007 and decided to break out into the entertainment scene on her own.

Miss Terra Jole become the first official Mini Britney Spears. And due to popular demand, this Mini Britney was soon performing everywhere in Vegas and spurred a genre-defying “Battle of the Britneys” rage across Sin City. In 2009 Terra Jole reinvented her pop icon impersonation act as the new Mini Lady Gaga. Riding on the real Gaga’s increasingly successful coattails, Mini Lady Gaga has been taking her show across the nation, and the next stop is right here in San Diego.

In an interview on vegasblog.latimes.com, Terra Jole explains the vision behind her latest Mini Lady Gaga identity to reporter Richard Abowitz: “Honestly, in the environment I perform in I hear a lot of Gaga's music and I just find it so entertaining and powerful that I thought why not try it and see how it works out. It has just been a roller coaster going up hill so far. So, that is good.” 

Richard also asks Terra what pop icon is more difficult to impersonate: “It's different. Lady Gaga has a stronger range. It is a larger challenge for me. Britney Spears is mainly dance. And Gaga is very mocking and doing a lot of facial probing. It was hard. But it was a cool transition. Read the full interview here.
