Channel 1920's Intrigue for New Year's Eve at Turquoise

Published : 12/21/2007 by Nick McCann

People in the 1920's knew how to party. They were drinking bathtub gin, they were spending way too much money on credit and apparently they liked to flap - a lot. Sure, the thirties sucked for most people in the western world, but we can still look back at The twenties much like we are supposed to look back at "our" twenties: it was a fun time because it had to be. After all, we knew someday we would be in our thirties.

If you are in your twenties and you think you are enjoying yourself, and you think you might want to celebrate New Year's Eve while celebrating your twenties along with the 1920's, Turquoise Café Bar Europa in Pacific Beach is the place for you.

With a 1920's European tapas dinner buffet, champagne, fine wine, and live jazz all night long, the party The New Year's Eve dinner dance party at Turquoise will be a splendid example of how life can be a cabaret.

Dressing up in the set Mardi Gras theme is strongly encouraged and be sure to stick around for the special performance of the "Moulin Rouge Cabaret Revue." Event begins at 8pm and goes all night. Tickets are $50-$100. For more information, contact Turquoise Café Bar Europa in Pacific Beach.
