These days you don't have to be a fruit fly or bi-curious to have a reason to investigate some of the new clubs that are emerging from the gay scene into the mainline spotlight. 2028 Hancock Street, AKA Club Montage, will be emerging from the closet beginning with GIANT Fridays.
GIANT, an LA based production company which boasts an impressive resume from events to all-out festivals, has decided to set up head quarters at 2028 Hancock Street every Friday here in San Diego. From serious veterans like Miguel Migs and YoshiToshi to red-hot rookies, GIANT is bringing some of the best DJs to lead an all-out-assault on your eardrums until four in the morning, seriously.
Pair that with an intense sound system and three floors of madness, plus a rooftop patio to boot and you might just find yourself lost among this wonderfully ridiculous montage (no pun intended) - or 2028 Hancock Street, if you prefer. Plus, you can bring that friend of yours who is always down to play wingman, or in some cases, wing-woman.
Insider Tip: The parking is free and the tickets and drinks are reasonable. With an impressive weekly entertainment line-up and a totally revamped image, the only confusion you'll encounter will be what to call it.
