Simple Glam Girls Print and Promotional Modeling Agency is doing their part to help victims of the San Diego wildfires. They will hold a charity runway show "Couture for a Cause" this Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at The Keating Hotel's Minus One Lounge.
This stylish charity event will begin with red carpet entry at 8:00pm, and will continue with a runway fashion show and live auction beginning at 9:00pm.
All proceeds from ticket sales, as well as raffles and sponsorships, will go to the News 8 Salvation Army San Diego Fire Relief Fund. Looking ahead to the holiday season, Simple Glam Girls will also be collecting new unwrapped toys to donate to the USMC's Toys for Tots.
The event will be attended by various local celebrities and professional athletes including Brande Roderick, Baywatch star and model, and Glenn Cadrez, former NFL Linebacker and two-time Superbowl Champion. Clothing for the runway show will be provided by Tatiana Boutique in Del Mar, Lauren-Elaine Designs, and designer Tania Diaz.
Simple Glam Girls was founded in 2007 by a young female entrepreneur wanting to make a difference in the modeling industry. The company now has 42 models in three different regions including San Diego, Orange County, and Los Angeles. The company plans to expand into Las Vegas, Nevada and San Francisco in 2008.
