And this should not come as much of a surprise, considering the crazy sexy sweaty madness that takes place at the Moonstone lounge each Sunday at the Hard Rock Hotel.

Wavehouse Sundaze
Possibly the best synthetic beach party ever. And The Plunge, the historic pool which used to reside solely inside the Wavehouse athletic club, has now been transformed into an extension of the Wavehouse. Plus, with headliners, DJs and local performers showing up on the bill each Sunday, the Waverider, added cabanas, VIP lounges, fire pits and hot tubs - you won't want to leave this rowdy Sunday party.

ALTITUDE Sky Lounge
Forget the Western Metal Building. If you really want a perch with a view into PETCO, nothing beats a roaring and rooting good time than working up a buzz while watching the Padres tear it up on the home field 22 stories up in the Marriott's luxurious lounge, ALTITUDE. Be warned: Only during Padres games can one experience the daytime drama of the ALTITUDE Sky Lounge, so be sure to get in the action before the season is over.

Jack's La Jolla Sunset Sundays

I know. "The Famous." But honestly, how can anyone resist this place on a Sunday with a bottle of champagne, a window seat to watch the crazies, ladies and lads running wild up and down the Pacific Beach boardwalk. Did I mention they have the best Bloody Marys around town? Yeah, I said it.

Lafayette Hotel
It's the one place where you won't have to jump the fence just to get in. The only thing you will be required to do, however, is buy yourself a drink, (i.e. the strawberry marg blended with fresh fruit), bring a bunch of friends and maybe some floaty toys for good measure.

Urban Mo's Margarita Madness (Saturday)
Straight or not, get curious. Do not fear the weird Saturday afternoon you could possibly experience in Hillcrest, after all, that's what makes it so damn interesting. And things tend to get even weirder after you've had a margarita, or two or three, or well whose counting - it's Ssaturday and it's pretty irresistible when Urban Mo's throws you a deal with $2 off house margs and a dollar off all other margaritas, 2 to 7 pm every Saturday afternoon. Just make sure you bring a friend to baby sit. You never know who you might stagger off with.
