Monday nights at the uber-exclusive Minus One Ultra Lounge at The Keating Hotel are the definition of indulgence. Glamour Mondays are a decadent combination of martinis, manicures, and massages aimed to help you unwind after a long weekend of being fabulous in San Diego.

The look of the lounge fell into the hands of Pininfarina, the design team that also delivered Ferrari and Maserati to the world. You can see their influence in the sleek lines of the steel bar, modern furniture, and a color scheme consisting of red, silver, and black. From time to time, you can almost hear the lounge revving its engine.

Sip on the La Chica Chic Martini, inspired by La Chica Chic's exotic jewelry, handbag, shoe, and accessory designs, and created by bartender Jeff Schoenfeldt specifically for Glamour Mondays.

Jeff recommends pairing the martini with a Minus One culinary favorite, calamari. The bar menu is also of Italian design, offering fresh Caprese and Chicken Parmesan Sliders among other tasty treats. Move from the bar to the mini-spa set up right in the lounge. Partake in a manicure or massage by the friendly ladies from Spa by Bardot; trained professionals who aim to please. The martini, manicure, and massage package is a steal at $28, or pick-your-pleasure at $10 each.

Glamour Mondays opened its doors late summer 2007 at The Keating Hotel, and now draws a crowd consisting of San Diego's current and aspiring power people. This is the San Diego event where one would expect to see Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha lounging on the sofas sipping cosmos. But, Glamour Monday is not just for the ladies, men are welcome to join in on the pampering. Make sure to leave the flip-flops and t-shirts at home; business casual is the way to go.
