This Thursday, you’ve got yet another reason to don your new wedges and venture to downtown San Diego’s favorite club, Stingaree. DJ AM, celebrity DJ extraordinaire, is venturing southward once again to heat up the dance floors at Stingaree on 6/26.

DJ AM (aka Adam Goldstein) first shook up the Gaslamp District at the grand opening of the discombobulating San Diego nightclub, Belo. As soon as his exclusive contract expired, warring megaclub Stingaree snatched him up.

Why is DJ AM so popular? It’s no secret his initial fame was achieved by his dating outside his (physical) league, most notably Nicole Richie and Mandy Moore, though his heart-knocking beats and innovative mixes secured his place—and in many ways, the art of DJ'ing itself—in the spotlight. However, his reputation as a ladies’ man seems to remain. Don’t be scandalized by the hordes of leggy women hurling themselves the Stingaree stages.
