World-renowned DJs, interactive live art, and lasers: so is the concept behind Fieldtrip Entertainment's premier MSTRKRFT party, which promises to be one of the first shows of its kind in San Diego history. It all goes down at San Diego's 4th and B November 21, 2007 from 8pm to 2am.

Fieldtrip Entertainment's spotlight line-up features international DJ legends MSTRKRFT and Lazaro Casanova, along with local crowd pleasers Buddy Akai, Shark Attack, and BLCKSWT.

MSTRKRFT is former musician Jesse F. Keeler and producer Al-P, both of Death From Above's 1979 fame. The DJ duo has garnered an international cult following for their unique and hard-hitting remixes of Bloc Party, Wolfmother, Metric, The Kills, Panther, and their very own Death From Above 1979.

Lazaro Casanova makes a stop in San Diego on his world tour. The 21-year-old turntable prodigy, with the classy moniker, promises to dazzle with original tracks and remixes of The Teenagers and Crystal Castles.

Rounding out the line-up are local dirty-electro rock band Buddy Akai, Mike Delgado and Patrick Heaney of DJ duo Shark Attack, and 91X's Ruggie and Jamal Davda, also known as BLCKSWT.

Providing visual stimulation is a roster of cutting-edge artists collaborating on a 20 by 8ft canvas, blending styles, mediums, and visions. Some are fine artists, some stencil artists, and some wheat pasters. Grab a cocktail and witness the original masterpiece grow and evolve throughout the night. Featured artists include SPRFKR, MELT, Pinky for Lost, Volcom Clothing, Richard Arthur, Exist 1981, and Tocayo for REEF.

Oh, and did we mention there will be lasers?

Insider scoop: 100 free tickets to the Fieldtrip Entertainment MSTRKRFT party will be available at the Airport Lounge in Little Italy on November 16, and an additional 100 free tickets will be floating around the Beauty Bar on the following night, November 17, for the Tune In Fieldtrip Entertainment Young Love after party.
