Enjoy $2.90 Shock Top Drafts, $3.90 Well Drinks, $4.90 Appetizers, and discounted specialty spirits, including The 45: Jack Daniels, straight up for $4.90 and The 90: A chilled blend of Jameson Irish Whiskey and Rumplemintz for $5.90. 

The appetizer menu includes such tasty bites as Beef and Pork Sliders, Teriyaki Salmon and Soy Glazed Steak Skewers, and the East Village Sushi Roll with salmon, avocado and thinly sliced lemon atop spicy crab and cucumber, served with honey miso glaze and a raspberry coulis. More popular sides include Edamame and Onion Rings.

The Bar Ninety Way: This chic and spacious corner bar looks and feels the same as any Gaslamp ultra lounge, yet lacks the trendy pretensions. The interior boasts an aesthetic appeal that was brought to life by locally-famed Davis Krumins, whose whimsical and eclectic interior designs can be found inside some of San Diego’s most gorgeous and renowned spaces – including Side Bar, Bar West, and Stingaree. 

Inside Bar Ninety, a collision between golden Far East artifacts and a hybrid of modern rock n’ roll elements come together in a curiously-inspired visual experience. Eye-catching gold Japanese masks are set against lush brown fur along vintage trunk-like walls.

Another wall is lined with candles set in recycled wood sconces. Metallic purple faux crocodile lounge sofas set beneath three black chandeliers –  boldly draped in crystal and gold bubbles – remind us of those fierce ‘80s archetypes that we secretly hope will never ever go out of style. Though ornate, Bar Ninety’s relaxed attitude gives the space a sense of laid-back relief and East Village edge that’s both rough and refined.
