With Memorial Day knocking on our doors, we party-lovin’ locals are reminded that the time has come for yet another action-packed three-day weekend of entertainment in San Diego. But with the myriad entertainment options, it can be difficult to settle on but one choice. Then again, who says you have to make one choice when you can make two?  

Whether you call the Fleet or the Beach your home away from home, these two fun-filled nightlife establishments are packing the heat for Memorial Day Weekend parties.

Memorial Day Weekend at The FleetWood
After a recent renovation, the revamped Fleetwood is ready to bring the heat this Memorial Day Weekend. Thursday kicks off with SoundDiego Live at 7pm featuring Kevin Martin and The Illuminats. On Friday night, Sting hosts a Revolt in Style Bikini Fashion Show at 8pm with beats by DJ Schoeny, followed by Fortune Music Fridays featuring DJ Devoy and Los Drumz. It’s All Good at the Wood on Saturday with Sleeping Giant Music featuring DJ Fresh One, and Sunday will end the weekend with a bang with locals Karaoke night and half-off bar tabs with a local ID. Memorial Day Weekend at The BeachWood
For those who want to hang beachside this Memorial Day Weekend, The BeachWood is the premier spot for Pacific and Mission Beach locals this Sunday, May 29th. From a massive second floor with capacious open-air windows and oversized leather couches, to fifteen 50-inch High-Def TVs, three 10-foot High-Def projection screens and spanning ocean views, you’re guaranteed to have a grand ol’ flag waving time. If you’re looking for some fun in the sun, head upstairs to the rooftop and lounge on cabanas, while sipping champagne and snacking on gourmet apps. If you’re in need of a good laugh this weekend, head downstairs to Reds Saloon on Sunday night at 9pm to sing your heart out at open mic karaoke.
