The ace entourage of entertainment and development in San Diego, EnDev, masterminds of swank super-club Stingaree, Side Bar, and Bar West, now launches the most risqué project yet, Universal, slated to arouse locals late summer in Hillcrest.
In the spirit of flamboyance, EnDev is flirting with the San Diego gay community to provoke an air of excitement for the official grand opening. Mr. Universal is a promiscuous pageant open to all men in the local area. The hottest contestants in San Diego will battle for the first-ever title of Mr. Universal.
Requirements
So you think you got what it takes? To apply, visit the Universal website and handle the entry form. But don't get cocky and think you can win with words. In addition to basic info, contestants need to submit two photographs: one in a business suit and one in a bathing suit. If you want to represent the hottest new club in San Diego--you must look the part.
Reality
All active San Diego bloggers will vote to determine the top contestants. With unlimited access to below-the-belt secrets and behind-the-scenes photographs, real San Diego voters will dig through the dirt to determine the hottest men in San Diego.
Results
The final, top-rated contestants will be invited to participate in a high-profile fashion show, to be hosted at Universal, following the grand opening. Although seemingly friendly, this sultry style-centric runway is also the official platform for elimination. The winner of Mr. Universal will be crowned immediately after the fashion show--but the acclaim doesn't stop there. Mr. Universal will be featured in Instinct Magazine, on the Universal website, and will be treated like a true king into infinity at Universal.
