Ivy Nightclub at Andaz San Diego is going big for 2013’s New Year’s Eve, and they’re not doing it without the help of some mega electronic talent. On this single night where anticipation runs high for fantasies to come alive, New York electronic DJ Drop the Lime and international star GRUM will provide the hypnotic soundtrack. Live entertainment will fill every corner of the five venues, including Ivy Nightclub, the outdoor Ivy Rooftop, Ivy Wine Bar, the Andaz Ballroom and the adjoining Katsuya by Starck.
Headliner Drop the Line has remixed tracks for Robyn, Moby, Armand Van Helden and more. His dance label Trouble & Bass best showcases his signature sound, combining a love of Rockabilly with bass-driven beats. He’ll be joined by Graeme Shepherd, better known as GRUM. This electronic musician from Scotland has a pocketful of hit singles, including “Through the Night,” “Can’t Shake This Feeling,” and “Runaway.”
More hot sounds keeping the party going into 2013 will come from R.O.B.O.T., Brady Spear, ScreenWerks featuring Steve1der, Este, Murphi Kennedy and Angle. Plus, don’t miss out on the seductive and spine-tingling performances from the always-lovely Lipstik Inc. dancers.
