With the original "Air Conditioned" sign hanging above the door of a derelict building, the Air Condition Lounge, at first glance, blends right in with its surroundings. But on further investigation, entering the AC Lounge is like stepping into the twilight zone, transporting you back to the 1970s.
Tangerine, bright yellow and soft browns paint the way for hip posters that greet each space traveler. Although the drink prices are not as dated as the interior, for the 21st century, they are actually quite reasonable. This planet's other life forms may have you questioning the current era, as some of them sport frocks circa 1950s, while others dote high-top shoes straight out of the 1980s.
Your organic decade makes no difference at the AC Lounge, as the music is sure to bring every generation together on the extra-intimate dance floor with a DJ blend dating from the current to the last several decades. From hip-hop to electro, with all sounds considered in between, the AC Lounge continues to keep the ambience cool while its patrons get hotter moving to the rhythms of the spinning record.
Insider's Tip: The Freon room, the interior reflecting its name, is about as naughty as a stationary party bus with stripper pole included and is recommended for anybody who is throwing a fiesta and looking for trouble.
