Beach & Bass: LED SunDaze Summer Lineup at Wavehouse

Posted On : 6/15/2011 by Ryan Eisenacher

With the sunshine back on our minds, it’s time to start prepping for all the madness that is summertime in San Diego. And what better way to light your fire than the proverbial Sunday Funday pool party? Although, when it comes down to it, the actual pool is pretty irrelevant to our party routine.

Last year, we locals got the best of both worlds when the masterminds over at Voyeur introduced us beach lovin’ locals to the ever-popular sand-filled SunDaze parties at Wave House. From Steve Aoki, Dirty South and LA Riots, to JFK of MSTRKRFT, Brodinski and Wolfgang Gartner, we crazy kids raged harder than ever at some of the wildest parties that San Diego has ever seen.

If you thought last year was out of control, you better think twice because the upcoming summer lineup at Wavehouse is going to be hotter than ever this year. That being said, throw on your bikini or boardshorts, grab your stunna shades and let’s f$%&ing partaaay!

Discover the L.E.D. 2011 Summer Lineup at Wavehouse.

June 19: Bart B More - Known for hit singles "So It Goes" and a remix of Sandy Rivera’s “Freak," Bart B More crafts dance floor destroyers that have received massive support from prominent DJs around the world.

June 26: Calvin Harris -The 27-year-old Scottish singer-songwriter was born Adam Richard Wiles, but we prefer the new moniker Calvin Harris. Most loved for his signature bedazzled shades and tunes such as “You Used to Hold Me" and “I Am Not Alone,” Calvin Harris is sure to make you swoon with his signature electropop style.

July 3: Dirty South - Dragan Roganovic, better known by his stage name Dirty South, is a Serbian-born Australian DJ and record producer. Dirty South has played for some of the best clubs and festivals in the world, including Ultra Music Festival, Pacha, Ministry of Sound, Space, and Vanguard.

July 10: Dada Life - This outrageous banana-lovin’ duo doesn’t care about genres. They don't care about smartness. And they don't care about the things you care about. Dada Life just want to make you jump up and down…then make you crash into a wall with a smile on your face.

July 24: A-Trak - Very few DJs can jump from club sets to high-profile festival performances. Montreal-born, New York-based A-Trak is a truly unique and spellbinding DJ, and the first to win all three major DJ competition titles (DMC, ITF and Vestax), as well as being the first DJ to win five World Championships. Hot damn!

July 31: Sebastian Ingrosso - As one of the highly talented members of Swedish House Mafia, Sebastian Ingrosso has garnered a wealth of success for his powerful melodies and trancing remixes, and was even voted the Number 16 DJ in the world by DJ Mag in 2010 Top 100 poll.

August 14: Skrillex - Former front man for the post-hardcore band From First to Last, this multi-talented, multi project-producer/remixer has been blowing up the electro scene. In the past year we’ve seen this LA native rise to the top of the Beatport charts, tour with Deadmau5 and land a coveted set at this summer’s Coachella Music Festival.

August 21: Wolfgang Gartner - Lauded by peers such as David Guetta, Tïesto, and Pete Tong, Wolfgang Gartner has garnered incredible strength as a DJ and producer in less than four years time. Check out photos from last year’s mind blowing performance at Wavehouse.
