Sunday: Brodinski at Wavehouse & Voyeur

Posted On : 3/9/2011 by Ryan Eisenacher

We all know that Voyeur throws one hell of a party. For nearly two years, Voyeur has gifted us house music junkies with such huge name acts as Calvin Harris, Kaskade, Steve Aoki, Laidback Luke, Wolfgang Gartner, Felix Da Housecat, Tommy Lee and Deadmau5, just to name a few. I mean, let’s be honest here, is there anyone out there that would actually skip one party at Voyeur, even if you tried? Ummm yeah…that’s what we thought.

With the sunshine back on our minds, it’s time to start prepping for all the madness that is spring and summertime in San Diego. And let’s be honest here, who better to light your party fire than your fun-loving friends at DiscoverSD and Voyeur? Because we crazy kids over here at DSD just love any excuse to party hardy with our dear and darling friends over at the V, we’ve taken the liberty to host a massive 14-hour rager!

On Sunday, March 13th, throw on your bikini or a pair of boardshorts, grab your stunna shades and head to Wavehouse from 12pm-6pm for Stimulation Sunday featuring LA Riots, Brodinski and Mumbai Science.

Kicking off the day’s musical soirée is Dr. Lektroluv’s newest acquisition: Mumbai Science. At only 24, Mumbai Science (aka Jonas Kiesekoms and Maarten Elen) already has a decade worth of creative experimenting behind them, from making politically incorrect rock music to writing absurd theatrical plays. Since signing with the notorious label Lektroluv Records in 2010, Mumbai Science has taking the Indie club scene by storm.

After Mumbai Science has rocked your world, get ready to be swept off your feet by the beats of French Tech-House DJ/producer Brodinski. Haling from Paris, France, Brodinski is best known for his raucous parties and leading the local fluokids phenomenon. The notorious trendsetting DJ represents the new wave of French electro and it’s more than safe to say we techno-house junkies over here in the states can’t seem to get enough of his incredulously unique soundscape.

Since breaking onto the Indie/Electro scene in 2007, the DJ/producer team of Daniel LeDisko and Jon Pegnato have reinvented a sound that melds influences of techno, house and drum n’ bass to create the signature style that we music junkies refer to as, LA Riots. With dancefloor-destroying sets that blend indie dance with electro anthems and Belgium house beats, the LA-based musical power duo has began filling progressively bigger clubs, taking the music industry by storm.

But wait! There’s more…..

It’s time to bedazzle the shit out of your shades and enlist the gliterazzi on your posse because the party don’t stop at sundown. That’s right people, it’s time for DiscoverSD and L.E.D. Present Sunglasses at Night Party at Voyeur! With hosted cocktails from 9pm-10pm and no cover all night long for DiscoverSD gueslist – as long as you are wearing sunglasses – this is one Sun-day and night that you definitely won’t want to miss out on!

While you're waiting for Sunday, check out Brodinski in action:
