Tio Leo’s Turns Up the Heat with Live Entertainment

Boasting three locations in San Diego, Tio Leo’s has been a go-to local Mexican restaurant staple for more than 20 years.

From delicious dishes ranging from Machaca Con Huevo and Albondigas Soup, to Carne Chile Colorado, Chimichangas, and Chile Relleno De La Casa, locals share a deep love for the traditional food served at this authentic South of the Border-style eatery. And while the fare is something in and of itself, Tio Leo’s also offers live entertainment every night of the week, bringing extra spice to the table.

Salsa Sundays provide patrons with a chance to learn how to salsa by taking the 7:30pm class. Margarita Mondays give all a chance to get fueled up for the week ahead with drink specials and fun music. Taco Tuesdays speak for themselves, and Zydeco Wednesdays introduce an exciting music genre to guests. Every month, Rockin’ Aces performs on Thursday nights inside Tio Leo’s Lounge. This local band will provide live music while you do the dancing. Olé!

But wait! There’s more…All Fridays and Saturdays are booked with a variety of live bands and entertainment. In the past, Tio Leo’s has hosted fun-filled weekend musical groups such as Rifftide, a great classic-rock cover band; The Corvettes, San Diego’s authentic Doo Wop and Motown band; Henchmen, a punk rock band; Detroit Underground, a must-see high-energy musical experience; the Red Elvises, a world famous, humorous, rock band that is utterly unique; and Tommy Price & the Stilettos, a hot rod rockabilly swing band playing music from the 50s.

Get Happy: In addition to live music and entertainment, Tio Leo’s Lounge also hosts a killer Happy Hour menu from 3pm to 7pm every Monday through Friday. Throw back $3 Domestic and Mexican pints, $4 margaritas and well drinks, and $5 select appetizers.
