Gary likes to speak of living in a land where the birds sing his name and the squirrels press his pants for him.  In the interim, he spends his time running the AC Lounge and doing his best to ensure patrons enjoy a stellar time dancing the night away.  

His favorite cocktail: Don Eduardo tequila on the rocks, tiny splash of fresh OJ and a lime.  

His favorite cocktail on vacation:  Espresso martini made with tequila. 

“People are always asking us how we came up with the name. Flashback: Paulo and I are standing in front of the business that was called Your Place Bar & Grill. The large ‘Your Place’ neon letters are still attached to the building, a feature-less, ugly stucco joint topped with Spanish tiles. A small blue sign with letters spelling Air Conditioned sits above the door letting everyone know that there was some form of climate control within.
    
Gary: What are we going to call it?
Paulo: I was thinking about "Air Conditioned"
Gary: I love it.

AC Lounge has been a staple in San Diego nightlife since before many of us were of legal drinking age. Yet, we have never seen them in a magazine spread, gotten an email blast about them, or had an AC Lounge flyer put on our cars– WHY? Because AC Lounge doesn’t advertise.
