A Recommended 180 When Selling Your San Diego Home

As the San Diego real estate market continues to heavily favor the buyer, sellers are going to have to strategize on how to separate themselves from the mountain of competition. My suggestion is simply to do the polar opposite of what everyone else is doing. A few suggestions:

1. Don't take your home off the market during the holidays.Capitalize on the fact that many sellers will, and this provides a short window of lower inventory. Even if people aren't touring homes on the actual holiday calendar days, they are still talking to their realtors and searching online on sites like Encinitas Real Estate website

2. When your San Diego realtor lists your home in the MLS, don't have them use words like "best deal" or "major pricereduction." And definitely don't have them CAPITALIZE THESE WORDS to shout them out. There are so many listings that read like this now that it has simply become white noise. Make your listing standout by simply describing your property in as nice of a fashion as possible. That in itself will make it stand out on sites like our Carlsbad Real Estate website


3. Most importantly, price your property from day 1 at a slight discount. What's the worst that could happen? A lot of foot traffic and multiple offers? Not a bad worst case scenario is it?
