The San Diego Association of REALTORS Ambassador's Foundation will host the 5K Walk to benefit the Everyday Heroes program on Saturday, November 15th starting at 8am.

Those with a fitness-focus and a love for the community will put cardio to cause for a 5K walk to help San Diego police officers buy homes in the communities they protect.

SDAR Ambassador's Foundation is a non-profit sector created by the San Diego Association of REALTORS. Event host Joe Lizura of KUSI will orchestrate festivities at the new NTC Park in Point Loma's Liberty Station, and great prizes will be awarded to walk participants. Teams and individuals can sign up in advance for $25 per person and donate online at ambassadorsfoundation.org or by calling 619.298.7400.

The San Diego Association of REALTORS created the Ambassador's Foundation with the goal of assisting San Diego Police Department employees to become homeowners, providing them and their families a better quality of life as they become vested in homeownership and their surrounding communities. The Ambassador's Foundation provides interest rate buy-downs and/or mortgage insurance buy-outs for qualified officers. The reduced loan rates will allow officers to save on monthly mortgage payments.
