One thing we love most about the fall season is decking our homes out in over-the-top festive holiday décor. From autumn-inspired center pieces to sky-high Christmas trees adorned with sparkling lights, not a detail is spared when it comes to holiday decorating.
The Temecula Valley Women’s Club is looking out for you yet again this year in hosting the 26th Annual Holiday Home Tour, giving you a glimpse inside four incredible Temecula estates with halls decked to the nines by The Treehouse, Maison de Fleurs and more local design companies. If you’re looking for new ideas to spruce up your home’s holiday look, do not miss out on this luxurious tour. Admire, mingle and shop with the Women’s Club November 13th & 14th.
Throughout two fun-filled days, guests will tour through four featured Temecula estates, including the Cornell Home, Dao Home, Hensley Home, and Lorah home, while enjoying treats and spirits from Holiday Bakery & Gourmet Shop, Marketplace, and Bistro & Wine Bar. And even better, the weekend kicks off with a Holiday Home Tour Opening Night Gala on Friday, November 12th at Wilson Creek Winery & Vineyards, featuring a sit-down dinner, auctions and live entertainment. Proceeds from the Gala will benefit Michelle’s Place “Back on Track” program for Breast Cancer Survivors.
Discover a taste of the four estates on the Temecula Holiday Home Tour.
The Cornell Home: This home, architecturally designed and constructed by the owners, harmoniously marries “green” living with historically inspired Spanish Andalusian style. The layout of the house is U-shaped around a vanishing-edge saltwater pool and a large seating area. The home uses solar energy panels to create electricity and a special system heats the pool’s water by circulating it through tubes heated by the sun. During the Tour, holiday décor will be provided by Maison de Fleurs.
The Dao Home: Love glamour? Look no further than this 17-room abode with a 270 degree view. This home features two magnificent Swarovski crystal chandeliers; French porcelain sinks with 24-karat gold inlay; crystal door knobs; marble and mahogany wood floors; a cantilever staircase; stained glass and leaded glass doors; granite kitchen countertops; a tiger-eye marble fireplace and bar; a steam shower; Jacuzzi tubs; a wine cellar; and much, much more. During the Tour, holiday décor will be provided by Kirsten Baker Designs.
The Hensley Home: This French country style home is perched atop a hill providing the homeowners with unobstructed views. Tennis and basketball lovers, be sure to note the lighted sport court just inside the driveway’s gates. If indoor games are more your speed, get a load of the home’s upstairs game room. If you prefer to take it slow, envision yourself curling up with a good book in front of the 3-sided fireplace in the master bedroom while sipping a cool drink from the in-room wet bar. During the Tour, holiday décor will be provided by Chattels Christmas Store and Beyond the Front Door Interior Design.
The Lorah Home: Sweeping vineyard views are the backdrop for this 4,700 square-foot home. The large kitchen is a cook’s dream with a pasta cooker in one of the three sinks, a wine ‘frig, and a kitchen center built into the granite countertop. The space has vaulted ceilings with wrought iron and glass chandeliers characteristic of Mediterranean style. But the big draw is the 50’ x 27’ outdoor pool with a waterfall-covered grotto where guests can relax with a cool drink and while away the day. During the Tour, holiday décor will be provided by The Treehouse.
