Blue Point Coastal Cuisine: Hook, Line & Sinker

You know it’s going to be a special night when the hostess matches the napkin to your attire. At Blue Point Coastal Cuisine, the service is impeccable. The entire wait staff--from the hostess to the on-site manager--makes sure that they’ve got you, hook, line, and sinker to have you coming back for more.


Hook:  With eleven martini specials and an extensive wine list, Blue Point knows how to get the night started off right and properly woo its clientele.  For appetizers, this Cohn Group-owned restaurant is known for their oyster bar. But if you shy away from that shiny shellfish, indulge instead in the lobster bisque or the jumbo lump crab cakes. 


Line
:  It’s not a surprise that fish entrees command much of the menu. The lobster-crusted Alaskan halibut is a delight and the citrus marinated swordfish is tantalizing.  Not a seafood person?  Blue Point offers a decent selection of USDA prime aged beef, in addition to chicken, pork, and lamb.


Sinker:  The desserts are simply delectable.  Didn’t save room for the chocolate soufflé, but still crave something sweet while you savor the end of your evening?  No matter – if you’re nice to the waiter, he just may bring you a dozen dark chocolate chips to enjoy while finishing off your wine.
