Brian's 24 Serves Hot Dishes 24 Hours a Day

Posted On : 5/24/2010 by Maureen Hine

Sometimes a good hearty meal is the cure all fix to a long day at work or a late night out on the town.

When it comes to late night dining in downtown San Diego, there aren’t as many options as you might suspect. However, all in-the-know locals will tell you that one central spot has become synonymous with late night dining: Brian’s 24. When you are fiending for that late night fix, Brian’s 24 is the best downtown destination for a full menu of filling meals and tasty snacks.

Sometimes it’s the simple things in life that are the most enjoyable, like seeing Brian’s bright lights shining in the distance and smelling the rich maple syrup of Chicken & Waffles when all other restaurants have closed their doors for business long ago.

True to its name, Brian's 24 serves up hot dishes 24 hours a day. It is the one and only downtown restaurant to grab a late night snack that isn't oozing with grease or wrapped in a paper bag. For years Brian's has been known as the classiest joint for a late bite or a night cap. But what you may not know is that Brian’s incredibly in-depth menu also offers a wide array of must-try items for breakfast, lunch and dinner. With generous portions of home style comfort food, you will leave feeling satisfied and full, no matter what time you drop in to dine.

Brian’s 24 is certainly not your typical diner: A rich mahogany palace, Brian’s 24 features dim, intimate lighting, an oversize crystal chandelier and huge windows that entertain people watching on the city streets. Most notable is the central antique mahogany bar – a historic piece that was originally from Joan Crawford’s home in Italy. Grab a solo seat at the bar or lounge at a spacious table with your crew and prepare to dive into the menu. Brian’s is known for traditional American comfort food prepared with innovative recipes. From the infamous Gaslamp Power Breakfast to leafy green salads, hearty burgers and the Ultimate Pancake Sandwich (a late night favorite!), Brian's menu is no joke, and is sure to satisfy even the pickiest palate at any hour of the day or night.

Discover a few of our favorite menu items, from breakfast to dinner and signature late night snacks.
