Opened in 1987 by Spanish-born owners Rogelio and Janet Huidobro, Café Sevilla originally started as a small tapas bar and immediately became a an instant hit for all things food and entertainment in downtown San Diego's historic Gaslamp Quarter.

News Flash: In case you haven’t heard, Café Sevilla is moving to a bigger and better location on Fifth Avenue and will be temporarily closing doors to the original Fourth Avenue space on September 26, 2010.
