Lunchtime rolls around and once more your faced with the impending question: Where to eat?

If you’re ready to break out of the “five dollar foot long” lunch funk, let me fill you in on a little Pacific Beach foodie secret. Dirty Birds features some incredible lunch specials, served Monday through Friday from 11am to 3pm. For just $5.99, you can try out some of the very best things on the menu.

Dirty Birds' new lunch menu options range from Dirty Tacos – two chicken or fish tacos topped with cabbage and house-made Baja sauce; to Stone IPA Pulled Pork Sliders – two slow simmered Stone IPA marinated pulled pork sliders topped with coleslaw; Fish and Chips – two beer battered cod fillets served with fries and tartar sauce; and a lunch-sized portion of the best-selling Thai Peanut Salad, overflowing with field greens, red cabbage, carrot, tomato, cucumber, peanuts, crunchy noodles, chicken breast and spicy Thai dressing. Even more featured menu items include House Sliders, Dirty Chicken Sandwich, and the Shrimp Caesar Salad. Still hungry? The sliders and sandwiches come with a choice of side: crispy French fries, tater tots, rich mac and cheese, pasta salad, or a house salad – all for just $5.99! Yum!

If you don’t make it out to the beach between 11 am and 3pm, don’t worry; Happy Hour is from 3pm to 6pm, featuring half price wings, domestic pitchers and $1 off alcoholic beverages.
