Stingaree, San Diego's distinctive and exclusive downtown tri-level restaurant and nightclub, promises an unforgettable night on the town.

Whether you're dining in the restaurant, watching the DJ spin in the nightclub, enjoying the private Penthouse room on the mezzanine level (complete with its own bar and bartender), or escaping the hustle and bustle of the city by ascending to the rooftop bar with a refreshing cocktail in hand, every night is always a party at Stingaree.

While we weekly celebrate Stingaree's nightlife allure, this week we put the spotlight on the Restaurant at Stingaree. Serving a fusion of Mediterranean, French, and Italian cuisine, Executive Chef Antonio Friscia offers such unique and elegant dishes as Crispy Skin Pink Snapper, Moroccan Style Lamp Rack with cous cous and gingered carrots, Honey Almond Crusted Chicken Breast with Boursin mashed potatoes and chili cream sauce, and Linguine ai Gamberoni Fra Diavola, which features jumbo Mexican blue shrimp. Entrees range from $31-$50.

Don't miss the decidedly chocolate-clad dessert menu, which includes the Chocolate Lava Cake, Roulade d' Chocolate with vanilla and chocolate sponge, espresso caramel, and fresh strawberries, and the Chocolate Trio, a triumvirate of lavender white chocolate mousse, hazelnut crunch, and spicy Maya pot d' crème.

Live DJs and go-go dancers entertain the jubilant crowds every Friday and Saturday and live jazz music can be heard every Thursday night. In addition, a separate club menu offers a delectable selection of appetizers and light fare, including the provocatively-named Menage a Trois, a combination plate of calamari, scallops, and prawns.

Insider Tip: Check out the Entourage Package, where guests arrive in a Hummer limo, enjoy dinner at the restaurant, party at a VIP table on the Mezzanine and, at the end of the night, are sent off with a large pizza. Package price starts at $2,200.00.
