Happy Hour Extended: Wine Steals Wonders

We’ve all been at that happy hour that extends into the dinner hour. You’re just having too much fun to think about leaving – but then your stomach starts growling, and you wonder how you can safely drive home on an empty stomach.

 
Luckily, if your happy hour is at Wine Steals, you can add more to your wine tasting with their menu selections. With locations in Hillcrest and Point Loma, and plans for one in Mission Valley, Wine Steals is more than just a great place to taste and buy great wines on the cheap.

 
Their popular cheese boards complement any wine selection. These cheese boards are more than just a few paltry slices of cheese. Replace that image with a bigger board, served with five kinds of cheese, olives, olive oil and vinegar, along with crackers and flatbreads. You can even upgrade this classic with fruit and meat selections.


Hungry for more than cheese and crackers? Pizza is available by the slice, ranging from the basil and tomato margherita to the classic pepperoni, proscuitto, and salami. Paninis, warm grilled sandwiches, are also available, including the signature brie and raspberry panini.
And to complement your meal, of course, there is wine. Oh, is there wine. Wine Steals functions as a store/bar/restaurant – so if you discover a great wine at dinner, be sure to pick up a bottle on your way out.
