Another successful San Diego Restaurant Week is underway this June - spanning from the North County coast to the Gaslamp city streets. The 2008 summertime Restaurant Week runs from June 22 - June 27, featuring over 130 leading San Diego restaurants with special three-course menus for $30 or $40, depending on the restaurant.
While the advent of summer is typically known to encourage locals to skimp on dining and splurge on health and beauty indulgences - not to mention swimwear shopping - Restaurant Week offers a seven day get-away-free card where calories don't count and fine culinary creations are readily available - on the cheap.
The San Diego Restaurant Week website makes it easier than ever for new diners to scope out the restaurant scene, while also enabling local pros to peruse for a new restaurant to try. From the Beaches to Coronado, Hillcrest, Gaslamp, North County and beyond - it is (already) quite a busy week discovering the best culinary corners of San Diego. All participating San Diego restaurants offer three options for each course, catering to the diverse palate of each guest.
