New "Business or Pleasure" Lunch Menu at Quarter Kitchen

Published : 3/26/2008 by Dan Tricarico

Are you in a hurry for lunch, but still looking for a fine dining experience? Then Quarter Kitchen at the Ivy Hotel is the place to be this spring in San Diego.

Because Chef Damon Gordon feels that local diners should have choices based on their schedules, this contemporary chic restaurant now offers a new "Business or Pleasure" menu. Consequently, those with time to relax can choose three courses ($34) or for those with more time constraints, the two-course option ($28) might be more appropriate. Either way, The Kitchen caters to what kind of time you have.

Selections will rotate, but the March menu begins with an Edmame soup, Caprese Salad (pictured), or Crispy Popcorn Shrimp.

Entrée selections include Grilled Wild King Salmon, Chicken Casserole, or the Kitchen Sink salad. For dessert, choose from S'Mores (with chocolate sauce and chocolate ice cream), or the sherry trifle (with Sangria jelly, sponge cake, and fresh red berries with vanilla ice cream). Lunch is served from 11:30am to 2:00pm every Monday-Friday. Business or Pleasure customers also receive a discounted valet rate of $10.

And should you skip lunch and venture out to Quarter Kitchen for dinner, start the evening with the luxurious Dungeness Crab Ravioli or Caviar Tacos. For the main course, you can't go wrong with any of the Quarter Kitchen's dry-aged steaks, including the Prime 8oz. Filet or New York Prime Strip Steak from the grill. For the more basic palates in your party, consider the Elbow Macaroni and Gruyere Cheese. Prices range from $22-48.

Reservations are highly recommended for lunch and dinner at Quarter Kitchen in San Diego. For more information on Quarter Kitchen, read the details here.
