In addition to up and coming edgy boutiques and bars, North Park now welcomes a new and slightly controversial restaurant: Commonwealth Café. This almost 24hr North Park restaurant is being received by San Diego as part-revolution and part-regret.
Commonwealth Café is an old-school restaurant with a contemporary design. From the electric teal ambient to the plethora of pennies commanding the counter and the authentic brick base, this North Park restaurant plays with the neighborhood tone while demanding a presence of its own.

Commonwealth observers and patrons now wonder why neighbor restaurants Sagauro’s and Jack in the Box remain open into the night.
