The San Diego Cohn Restaurant Group announces plans for the latest restaurant in their entourage of upscale eateries. Pioneering the renovation of the Oceanside waterfront in North County San Diego, the latest Cohn dining creation is sure to draw downtown diners up the coast.
Located on the water in Oceanside, the new 333 Pacific restaurant will sit on the ground level of the Wyndham timeshare building at Pier View Way and Pacific Street. San Diego 333 Pacific is a 7,000-square-foot restaurant with two private dining rooms and a sweeping 180-degree view of the Oceanside Municipal Pier and sandy shores of the Oceanside beachfront. The Cohn Group is working with an architect and designer from Seattle to create the right modern look for the up and coming location, featuring a blend of dark and light woods with beautiful fabrics. 333 Pacific will serve both steak and seafood at a reasonable price point for the neighborhood, and will offer an upscale nightlife lounge.
While the new Oceanside 333 Pacific in San Diego is sure to create the biggest buzz we've seen for the North County dining scene, the Cohn Restaurant Group is by no means alone in the resurgence of this aged and underdeveloped area.
Upscale waterfront dining in Oceanside has been slowly in the works since January 2007, with the opening of Vigilucci's Osteria on Mission Avenue, followed by the new Harney Sushi in Oceanside Terraces, next to Regal Cinemas. Whether due to the competition in La Jolla dining or saturation in the Gaslamp dining, from Vigilucci to Harney and now Cohn, many big brands in the San Diego restaurant scene seem to be moving up the coast, and we can't help but wonder what's next for North County.
