Known for its fresh take on the neighborhood restaurant, The Linkery is closing doors to the public from December 6th-8th to make renovations to the dining area and revamp the farm-to-table menu.
Chef Max Bonnacci’s new dinner and brunch menus will reflect a more tightly focused neighborhood restaurant with great craft beer and exceptionally savory wines. The menu will reflect a permanent showcase of tasty farm-driven selections — a substantial change from the previous, ever-changing items that diners once found on the menu. But, as always, The Linkery will feature exceptional ingredients from our farmers.
If you thought the menu was superlatively scrumptious before, trust us when we say that you won’t be dissatisfied with the sweet new selections of delicious comfort food.
Shared Plates include Local Yellowtail Poppers with guacamole and tangy sauce; Bacon Wrapped Octopus with house cured bacon and wild Mexican octopus; City Ham Sliders with jersey cheddar and house-cured Berkshire ham; and Pumpkin Soup with house-cured capicola, pepitas and cream. Still hungry? Dig into the handmade Gnocci with house-cured Berkshire country ham and peas; the Fried Pastured Chicken Leg served with local summer squash and collard greens; the Beer Breaded Eggplant Sandwich with your choice of toppings; or the Pastured Lamb Stew with local squash, carrots and wine sauce.
Aside from the lunch and dinner menu, The Linkery will be switching things up on the brunch menu as well. Dive into delicious bites such as the Beer Bread French Toast topped with fresh local strawberries and real maple syrup; Ham & Eggs with house-cured Blackstrap Molasses country ham and pastured chicken eggs inside two thick slices of grilled beer bread; the Fried Chicken & Johnnycake Waffle with pastured chicken and local buckwheat honey; and the Classic Linkery Burger with grass-fed organic beef, organic Jersey cheddar, pastured chicken eggs and house-cured Berkshire bacon in a house baked semolina bun served with organic potato home fries.
When The Linkery re-opens to the public on Thursday, December 9th, diners will also be delighted with the restaurant’s all-new interior design. The purpose of the remodel will make the bar area more functional for beer and wine service, and in the dining room, the straight-backed cafe booths will be replaced by more comfortable, traditional restaurant seating.
Don’t forget to make your reservation for the all-new (errr, slightly revamped, but still just as tasty) Linkery 2.0. Guests can book a table by visiting thelinkery.com/bookit or emailing bookings@thelinkery.com. Reservations by phone start on December 10 by calling 619.255.8778 or by visiting The Linkery.
