Arterra’s food, flavor, and values have long brought admiration and approval by locals over the years. Their farm fresh dining, chic outdoor lounge and prime happy hour make the attractive eatery a go-to spot in North County.
The true mark of any distinguished restaurant is its ability to change and grow through the test of time. And in trend-setting style, Arterra is revealing a grand re-opening this February, complete with an innovative menu revamp, a new Executive Chef Tony Miller, and a renovated dining room space.
The masterminds behind Arterra’s renewal have been working diligently to debut a refreshed look, taste and vibe, and are ready to show off the new goods at the official grand re-opening party, Taste of Arterra on February 17th. From 5:30pm to 8:00pm, guests can taste the field-to-fork standard Arterra boasts as they dine among warm woods, cool metals and rich colors of the updated interior.
The Taste of Arterra event is inviting the masses to taste samplings of the newest signature dishes, including the mouth-watering lobster mac ‘n’ cheese, Moroccan braised beef short rib and avocado butter cake with almond crunch. Arterra’s active partnership with local vendors will showcase throughout five stations in the restaurant, highlighting the best of the best including a sushi station with delicious house-made sauces.
No grand celebration of incredible food can be without high bass music, and the Flounders along with DJ SACH-A-MO will ensure guests get their entertainment fix through the evening. To add to the fun, a high-class wine and beverage bar will host a mixologist to create signature satisfying cocktails for smooth sipping.
The culinary team behind all the magic has a thoughtfully redesigned menu to be formally introduced to guests at the event. Executive Chef Tony Miller imparts upon Arterra his warm personality, authentic approach, and passion for local ingredients to invent flavors with modernization. His partner Sushi Chef Andrew Hoh has become a beloved fixture of the restaurant over the past nine years, constantly providing creatively designed and delicious sushi dishes.
Arterra’s focus has been and continues to be their contemporary, seasonal cuisine that reflects the best of San Diego, with fresh, local, and organic ingredients hand-picked and full of flavor. The grand re-opening event is open to the public and free with a $10 donation to Feeding America San Diego’s Farm2Kids program.
