Loosen your belt buckles – the most flavorful restaurant event in San Diego arrives this Thursday, September 13th, from 5pm to 9pm. The eighth annual San Diego Taste of Downtown, a self-guided culinary tour of superlative downtown San Diego restaurants, is the perfect way to sample cuisine from that long list of restaurants you’ve been meaning to visit.
The Taste of Downtown event isn’t concentrated in the Gaslamp Quarter – it also includes the Financial District, East Village, Horton Plaza, and even Little Italy. Sounds like a substantial stroll? Taste of Downtown offers free shuttles that run frequently between restaurants, so there’s no need to trade in your heels for dumpy walking shoes.
