The Groove 24/7 Sunday Brunch Party at The Pearl

Published : 4/30/2008 by DiscoverSD

The Restaurant at The Pearl in Point Loma introduces The Groove 24/7, a brand new weekend brunch party changing the way San Diego does Sunday. Forget stuffy dining rooms and chaotic buffet tables, head to this retro-chic boutique hotel and treat yourself to the eats and beats. Now, discover the deets.

This weekly event starts on Sunday, May 4 from 10am to 8pm and will feature a new brunch menu by Chef Trey Hartinger from 10am to 2pm, followed by gourmet nibbles, Pearl cocktail specials, and post-brunch poolside activities from 2 to 8pm.

The Restaurant brunch is $20 a person and includes bottomless mimosas and your choice of entrée. Menu options include the Breakfast California Burrito with tallgrass rib eye asada, green crème, black bean smash, and chile fondue, the Cuban Scramble with spice braised pork, organic huevo, organic greens, and Swiss mornay, and the Salmon Hash with house smoked salmon, house cured bacon, organic huevo, and la milpa salad.

But don't fill up too quick - the party outdoes brunch and lasts all day with $5 drink specials, ping pong tournaments, board games, open pool for swimming and tanning, and free wifi. DJing the brunch party is Chief Selector Chris LaRose from The Pearl's own radio station (The Groove 24/7), who brings a big batch of eclectic sounds to keep life in balance, cool in context.

The Pearl is down to earth and up with style - and is stepping up their game just in time for summer with this all-new Sunday brunch party: The Groove 24/7. Grab your friends and reserve a cabana booth for the best seat in the house.
