As the summer heat continues to rise, so does our anticipation of the first annual San Diego Fashion Week. Last week we announced the official venue and designer lineup, and this week we bring you the day-to-day play-by-play from boutique sunrise to runway sunset.

For those of you that haven't kept up on your local style studies, the Fashion Week San Diego tent is coming to the Sheraton Hotel and Marina for one week of star-studded runway and everyday entertainment from September 28 to October 5, 2008. Among the notable designers and labels are Charmone Shoes, Fashion Overdose, G Star, and Lauren-Elaine Designs. Check out the complete Fashion Week designer lineup here.

This week, we are proud to announce the play-by-play Fashion Week events and runway shows from morning until night, all week long, all across San Diego County. From Sunday to Sunday, discover the event-ful Fashion Week coming this fall.

Sunday 9/28: Private grand opening party within Fashion Week tent

Monday 9/29: Hosted VIP bar and live entertainment by DJs Bradley Schweit and FishFonics at 4pm followed by Jeans for Justice, Made Jewelry, and G Star on the runway

Tuesday 9/30: Jeans for Justice charitable fashion auction with light hosted fare at Salon Nobel in La Jolla by day, Lizz Russell, Nelli, Stacie May, and Charmone Shoes grace the runway by night, starting at 4pm with live entertainment

Wednesday 10/1: Sugar Couture fashion lecture, raffle, and luncheon at Dussini by day, VIP bar and live entertainment by Trio Gadjo at 4pm, and runway show with Sweet Petites, Fashion Overdose, Made Jewelry, and Lust 4 Luxe Handbags into the night

Thursday 10/2: Level 99 denim trunk show at Christie's Boutique by day, and 4pm kicks off the VIP bar and entertainment by Lion Crowns with all eyes on the styles of Paris Hariss, Sergio Alcala, Fuergorosa, Lust 4 Luxe Handbags, and Made Jewelry on the runway

Friday 10/3: Designer meet and greet with Sergio Alcala and Fuegorosa at Bayley Boutique with hosted champagne and cupcakes in the afternoon, and designers Lauren-Elaine, Jorge Corella, Made Jewelry, and Charmone Shoes take over the runway by night

Saturday 10/4: Invite-only luncheon for designers and sponsors at the W Hotel; tent opens at 4pm for entertainment by Get Back Loretta and the following designers rule the runway: Sugar Couture, Ximena Vallero, Charmone Shoes, Made Jewelry, Lust 4 Luxe

Sunday 10/5: AK Wholesale and APA Consulting charity shopping experience in the Fashion Week tent featuring the following brands: Ed Hardy, True Religion, Christian Audigier, Diesel, and many more, with $5 of every ticket benefiting the Child Abuse Prevention Foundation
