Andy Hilfiger is heading to San Diego for a meet and greet event styled with rock ‘n’ roll street cred in promotion of his new fashion collection Andrew Charles.
On Wednesday, March 28, Andy Hilfiger, Mia Tyler and The Click Clack Boom band will invade the Impulse department at Macy’s Fashion Valley. Shoppers will get to meet the designer, mingle with the celebrity entourage, and check out the spring / summer collection of rock star looks for men and women.
The Andrew Charles collection is inspired by Steven Tyler, the lead singer of Aerosmith that we now see on the “American Idol” panel of judges. The iconic rocker is known to wear a series of eclectic scarves, both around his neck and tied to his microphone stand, and a Steven Tyler Rock Scarf Collection for Andrew Charles is also in development. Mia Tyler, daughter of Steven, is a model, actress and fashion designer who will represent her rock star heritage with Hilfiger in San Diego.
The Click Clack Boom is a newly formed American rock band from New York City that debuted in 2008 after working with Hilfiger at CMJ Hilfiger Sessions at New York's Terminal 5. In August of 2011 the band formed a new lineup and reconnected with Hilfiger in time for the Andrew Charles promotional tour.
Fusing fashion and with rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle, the event takes place Wednesday, March 28 at 6:30pm at Macy’s Fashion Valley. For more information and to view the collection, visit macys.com/andrewcharles
