When hitting the San Diego malls this holiday season, keep your eyes out for these hot new retail stores at Fashion Valley and the newly renovated Westfield UTC.
Euro-inspired designs are spicing up the scene at Fashion Valley Mall ever since Spanish retailer Zara opened doors. While the international brand is a staple in most malls, it is now setting foot in San Diego for the first time with a two-story mega shop. Zara is adored for luxurious-looking designs with inexpensive price tags.
For the modish woman who means business, fitted dresses, casual knitwear and preppy high-collar blouses fly off the racks here, ranging from $50 to $150. For men, button-up shirts, sharp blazers and all styles of jeans (faded, slim fits, distressed) can be found for under $100. Little ones get the Zara treatment too, with mini-sized pea coats, printed pants and sparkly sweaters at similar price points.
