Bohemian Style Invades Nightlife at Haven Boutique

We’re accustomed to clothing boutiques within salons, but have you heard of a boutique inside a nightclub?

Deanne Shockey proved there are still trailblazers in San Diego when she brought us Haven Boutique within Voyeur Nightclub. Granted the boutique looks as though it is located next to the club, but it is in fact within Voyeur’s Fifth Avenue square footage.

Owner and fashionista Deanne Shockey grew up in the Midwest before attending FIDM in LA. After managing a clothing store for three years she decided she could rock San Diego with her personal taste. Described as “Bohemian Glam,” Haven is a cozy corner abundant with racks of clothing and (literally) lockers of accessories. Small in space, but whopping with varied style, you can find on-trend pieces ranging in price from $3 - $198.

Although situated in a club, you will not see stereotypical clubbing attire in this bohemian boutique. You will discover rock ‘n’ roll earrings, vintage pumps, smart blazers, funky tees, sexy frocks that work day or night and casual elegant must-have pieces from local and overseas designers. It’s quite obvious why this new boutique has been described as shopping in your stylish best friend’s walk-in closet.

Haven’s trendy merchandise consists mostly of San Diego labels or hand-made designer brands from around the world. US Rags, Colorado Pottery, Norwegian Wood, Tainted Entropy, Morgan Jean Jewelry and Modern Rader are a few of the labels you will see hanging in Haven.
