Fresh: bright, crisp, budding. Is it a boutique-style Soup Plantation? An oasis of green tinged bikinis? A loud and proud eco-friendly coffee house?
As the unabashedly beaming lime green store flashed its lack of inhibition in Pacific Beach, minds began to wonder exactly what was coming to town.
Although a few environmentalists and lettuce lovers were a tad disappointed (yours truly included), there's always room for one more boutique in the San Diego shopping scene. Fresh is the newest addition to the trendy women's clothing boutique club on Garnet Avenue. However, though Fresh is new to Pacific Beach, the firm green roots stem back to the original locale on 5th Avenue in Hillcrest.
The Fresh boutique in Hillcrest is a small venue boasting a bold interior. With a lime green base, elegant wood floors, and chandelier bulbs ablaze; a vivid punch of color sends guests into a shopping trance. Once immersed inside, house music heightens the tone. Shopping in the Hillcrest Fresh is more a thrill seeking rave than relaxing escape. Shoppers dive into heaps of whimsical summer dresses, oversized blouses, and playful season trends.
Pacific Beach sheds a new light on Fresh boutique. A combination of open space and sunlight transforms Fresh into a more soothing shopping experience. The Pacific Beach Fresh is aglow with hip Hillcrest style trends toned down with a mellow beach vibe. In the first few months of the Fresh arrival, many styles lacked sizes, tags, and proper pricing—but, recently, the store seems to be finding a stable flow and is blooming into its own as summer quickly approaches.
Dip into Pacific Beach's new Fresh boutique to find affordable fashion trends for your summer stems.
