I don’t know about you, but I think any boutique with a faux horse head overlooking its fabulous European fashions is a must-visit.
For those in the know, it’s obvious I am speaking of Daniéla Boutique — a relatively new and petite shop snuggled into the heart of Rancho Santa Fe.
My first impression of the boutique was provided by the rambunctious Edna, who graciously directed me to the store over the phone when my directions failed me. Once I managed to deliver myself to the appropriate address, Edna warmly welcomed me as she bid farewell to a happy guest with a full shopping bag.
Daniéla Boutique is filled with three Italian designers: Celyn B, Anna Ritan and Bleu Deep. While one label brings you unconventional skirts and pantsuits, another brings you confident prints for beach and weekend. Beyond that the store carries numerous pairs of clean dark denim, yummy silk pieces, high-end blouses in emerald green and mustard as well as casual wear. Funky tees, polos and lounge pants abound to satisfy your cravings for a little flash on your comfort wear.
The evident body conscious mindset adds even more appeal to the stylish collection at Daniéla’s boutique (besides their Brazilian bikinis, of course). Ranging from $55-$600, every garment in the store will flatter a woman’s figure with slimming lines and complimenting shapes.
One item did still the show. A cropped military inspired beige blazer with bejeweled tuxedo lapels is the type of piece you rarely see in a San Diego boutique. Unique, inspiring, fabulous, this is a jacket you wear forever and amass the compliments with every appearance. It always excites me to such an article of clothing.
